Project Overview
Costa Navarino represents the pinnacle of sustainable luxury hospitality in the Mediterranean. Our engineering team delivered the complete MEP design for this award-winning development, which has set new standards for environmental responsibility in the tourism sector.
The project encompasses two distinct hotels - The Westin and The Romanos - along with extensive leisure facilities, spa complexes, and support infrastructure.
Sustainable Design Philosophy
Energy Systems
- Geothermal heating and cooling serving 80% of thermal loads
- 2 MW solar PV installation on service buildings
- Solar thermal collectors providing 70% of hot water demand
- Advanced building management system optimizing real-time performance
Water Conservation
The resort operates as a near-zero discharge facility:
- On-site wastewater treatment and recycling
- Desalination plant with energy recovery
- Smart irrigation reducing landscape water use by 60%
- Rainwater harvesting from all roof surfaces
